Graphically display your Heart Rate measurements recorded in Health. Real-time display of Heart Rate as recorded in Health by Apple Watch or other bluetooth heart rate monitor.
Apples Health app provides a tidy and convenient display of heart rate monitor measurements for the current day, current week, current month and current year. What it doesnt do is allow you to view your results for yesterday or any other day other than today. Yesterdays results are stored but cannot be viewed in detail in Health.
Heart Rate Tools goes further. Utilising the Health database as source it can display any day, month or year. The graphical display shows the average heart rate for each selected interval, not just the minimum and maximum.
Event mode breaks up a day into individual workout sessions, letting you see in detail how your heart rate reflects your exercise routine.
The Rate tab displays the most recent beats-per-minute recording in real time. This is invaluable in checking that your heart rate measurements are being recorded in Health before you start a run or workout. Confirming that the bluetooth connection between your heart rate monitor or Apple Watch avoids the disappointment of a failed recording.
Heart Rate Tools does NOT connect directly to an Apple Watch or other bluetooth device. It interacts with the Apples Health data to show you what is actually recorded.
